RoostCalc gives you free calculators and guides to help you think through money and home decisions. Use them all you like. In return, we ask that you treat the results as educational estimates — not professional advice — and that you don't abuse or try to break the site. That's the whole spirit of this page; the details below just spell it out.
By visiting RoostCalc, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's completely fine — please just don't use the site.
Everything here is free and open to the public. You may use our calculators and read our guides for your own personal or professional decision-making. You may link to any page. What you may not do: copy or republish our content wholesale as if it were your own, scrape the site in a way that burdens our servers, attempt to break, probe, or overload the site, or use it for anything unlawful.
Our calculators use standard formulas and reasonable default assumptions, and each page explains those assumptions. But every result is an estimate for educational purposes. It is not financial, tax, legal, insurance, or investment advice, and using the site does not create any professional or advisory relationship between you and RoostCalc. The text, design, code, and calculators on RoostCalc are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to quote a sentence or two with a link back, or share a result you generated. You may not reproduce whole pages, bulk-copy our calculators, or present our work as your own without permission — just email hello@roostcalc.com and ask; we're reasonable.
RoostCalc is supported by clearly-marked ads served through Google AdSense, and some pages link to outside websites (for example, government or lender resources). We don't control third-party sites or ads and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion, under their terms and privacy policies. How advertising data is handled is described in our privacy policy.
We work hard to keep the math correct and the site running, but RoostCalc is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we don't guarantee that every figure is error-free or that the site is always available.
